My first day in Canada school

When I came to Canada, I did not know how to speak english, the only think I knew it was to say hello and how are you? and I remember, in my first school in my first day, my mom was said when somebody said what is your name, you answer my name is Mariana and you? and then I went to in school , when I went to school everything was different from my country school or in Brazil in that school had lockers the room was different and I saw a lot of things and I was a little nervous but people came to me and said hi to me and then I went to the officer and they showed me somebody who spoke the same language like me and this made me happy and I was thinking nobody spoke the same language like me and this made me so happy and I went to the class and same thing did not it was all most everybody was from others country. so they can understand how was to learn others language and I now make new friends and I have lot of fun in that school.
